"Domino" is a documentary on cancer diagnosis accessible to all. 3D & VFX used to sustainably produce film-quality content for various channels. Made with Area Science Park, AB ANALITICA, eXact lab, University of Trieste & Udine, ISTITUTO NAZIONALE DEL CANCRO CRO AVIANO, and several Hospital Operating Units.
Problem Statement & Pain Points
AREA Science Park needed to communicate the potential of a very complex technology, and the collaboration between partners, without showing patients or specific stories.
Strategic Angle
The production strategy concentrated on how to create strong visuals that could show the work behind a diagnostic process, accross the whole chain of events that unfold to reach this goal. This would then be connected in a coral narrative construction of the interviews. and supported by 2D and 3D animations that could portray the pathologies with tact.
